All candidates who take the test are given a report on their English language ability, which places them on a nine-band scale. The report contains five scores, one for each module and an overall score. The report also gives a brief description of the candidate's level and is normally valid for two years.
Note: Candidates are given only ONE copy of their Test Report Form and this cannot be replaced, however, candidates may request up to five additional copies be sent to other organisations. Test Report Forms for tests taken more than two years ago cannot be re-issued.
IELTS score requirements:
The required IELTS score for entry may vary from one institution to another and candidates should check entry requirements with the relevant institution.
Release of IELTS Test Results
Test results will be issued 13 days after the test date. Test result forms are either posted to candidates or can be collected in person. If you would like to collect your results in person, you must complete a written request prior to the release of your test results. Request to collect forms can be completed at reception. Collected results are available from reception on level one upon presentation of your passport on the release day between 10am and 2pm only. No passport, no results. All uncollected results will be posted after 2pm.
