English for Teaching
English for Teaching is ideal for professional teachers and academics from various disciplines who are keen to improve their English language skills and learn how to deliver their subject in English language medium. The course builds on the existing ability of teachers and develops their language skills as both English speakers and educators. The course combines theory and practical workshops including lesson planning and teaching practice. Participants can choose from a range of topics to form a customised course of up to 200 hours. The program can be delivered in the Melbourne Centre or at a location of the client's choice in Australia or overseas.
To enter the course, it is preferred that participants demonstrate at least an upper intermediate level of English language proficiency (approximately IELTS 5.0).
This course is a suitable language preparation course for the REW Teacher Training program at RMIT English Worldwide. English for Teaching is offered to closed groups only.
