CELTA is accredited and administered by the University of Cambridge. No previous teaching experience is required and in only one month, trainees develop confidence in classroom management, a range of interactive language teaching skills and an understanding of the grammar, pronunciation and functional uses of English. Each trainee delivers nine teaching practice classes to real ESL students.
