RMIT English Worldwide does not provide accommodation on campus, however, we can help you find accommodation.
Most RMIT English Worldwide students choose one of the following four accommodation options.
Homestay
- International students live within typical Australian homes for safe, healthy and caring family environment.
- More than just accomodation, homestay gives students experience living in an English language environment and personal access to Australian culture.
- Single room with linen, area to study, access to shared bathroom, and no additional costs for electricity and gas.
- Usually located 30-40 minutes for city centre and RMIT English Worldwide.
- In 2010, the Homestay Placement fee is AUD$160. Students usually budget for AUD$225 per week.

Apartments or Flats
- Wide choice of apartments or flats available close to city centre and RMIT English Worldwide.
- Range from studio/single person apartments to 2-3 person bedroom apartments.
- Prices vary according to budget (students need to sign contract for duration of stay).
Hostel
- Shared bedrooms, bathrooms and common living areas
- Cheap accommodation, with rooms ranging from $28 to $80 per night.
- Often cater for students with access to phones and Internet.
Hotel
- Single room with access to either shared or private bathroom.
- Wide choice of hotels available with range of price and quality.
- Typically, hotel rooms range from $44 to $90 per night for rooms with private bathroom.
